The Black Knight Toronto & District Junior Mixed League

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

2009-2010 Black Knight Junior Mixed League

Squash Professionals or Team Captains are responsible for confirming start times
which may differ from the published 12:00pm times.


1. The 2009 2010
Black Knight Junior Mixed League finals will be held on Sunday April
18 th , 2010 at a venue to be determined.

2. The top 2 teams in each division will meet in the finals and the 3 rd and 4 th place teams
will play for the third place.

3. This will be the first year where the top 4 teams will meet in a playoff where 1 plays 4
and 2 plays 3 leading into the finals and third on April 18 th .

4. There will be prizes for all teams reaching the April playoffs.

5. Lunch will be provided at the playoffs for ALL JUNIORS WHO PARTICIPATED in the
Black Knight Junior Mixed League this season as well as for all coaches and parents.

6. Juniors must be the appropriate age of the division entered as at April 18 th , 2009.

7. White clothing only at Granite; Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club; Toronto Lawn
Tennis Club and Badminton & Racquet Club.

8. All result cards from home teams should be faxed to league statistician, Rob Brooks at
9057602230. Juniors will find league standings on Squash Ontario’s website –
squashontario.com. Scores are computed by GAMES WON, not matches won.

9. A player must play in 6 matches to qualify for the playoffs unless otherwise stated.
NOTE: 6 MATCHES DOES NOT MEAN A PLAYER WOULD HAVE TO PLAY 6
SUNDAYS.

10. Scoring will by PAR 15, win by a clear 2 points.

11. The host club is responsible for providing a snack to the participating teams at the
conclusion of the matches.

A snack may be anything from cheese and crackers, grilled cheese sandwiches, fruit,
spaghetti, ice cream, etc. The idea is to encourage some social interaction between the
teams after the matches.

12. Teams must have at least one boy and one girl in their 4 person team at every match.
Players are aligned in order of strength from position 1 to 4. If, however, a team cannot
field a boy or girl on a given day, send 4 players of the same gender and default
position 4 on the scorecard even though a player will play at that position.


13. Start time for Sunday matches may be selected by each club upon entering the league.
The times will range from Noon to 4pm.
